• Virginia Military Institute BS Biology 1971 with an average of 3.5 or better
• University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine DMD degree 1975; inducted into the OKU academic honor fraternity
• General Practice Residency US Army General Residency Certificate 1976
• Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry 1989; completed more than 500 hours of continuing education credits and passed an all day written exam
• Instructor at the University of Pennsylvania Dental School
• Residency certificate for post graduate training in General Dentistry

Dr. Yorgey has been married to his wife Carol for 38 years and has two girls, both of whom are married. Recently, Dr. Yorgey has also become a proud grandfather.
